There are two ways of creating an account with Mozzartbet. The first way is by going on Mozzartbet’s website and clicking the ‘register’ button at the top of the page. All you have to do is enter a valid mobile number and create a password. An activation code will then be sent to your mobile phone, after which you will be asked to enter some basic personal information. Your account will then be registered. The second way to create an account is through mobile and is even more straightforward. Simply send a text message with the word WIN to 29990. You will then receive a pin code and a password which you can use to Log in either on the website or on mobile.

You can make a deposit into your Mozzartbet account with M-PESA by using the following steps:

The money that you deposit into your account can be found in your Mozzart Bet Wallet which can be accessed from your online account. You can also check your balance via SMS by sending a message with B to 29990.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can also choose to make a deposit in person at one of Mozzartbet’s numerous shops where a cashier can guide you as to how to make your deposit.

When making a deposit or withdrawal via the direct M-PESA deposit option online or through the app, you will be charged the regular Safaricom M-PESA transaction charges whilst if you choose to deposit in person in a Mozzartbet shop, there will be absolutely no deposit or withdrawal fees. At the time of writing the betting site does not provide much information regarding any minimum or maximum withdrawal amounts or processing times. Whilst the betting company provides many sportsbook promotions for its players (which we will get to shortly), at the time of writing this Mozzartbet review, there are no welcome offers currently available.

Instead, players can take advantage of a wide range of other exciting promotions at Mozzartbet. The Bonus 1000% promotion enables you to earn bonuses on each of your bets starting from 26% during normal hours and all the way up to 1000% during happy hours. Happy hours run from 9am to 11am and 8pm to 10pm in the Mozzartbet shops and from 6am to 8am and 11pm to 1am when betting online and via SMS. To be eligible to earn these bonuses, your bet selections must be of a minimum of 1.35 and you your bet slip must have at least 4 selections during normal time and 3 selections during happy hour.

Another promotion offered by Mozzartbet is an accumulator refund bonus. If you place an acca with 4 games or more, and just one of your selections loses, your stake will be refunded according to how high your initial betting odds were. If your winnings odds are 29 and above your stake will be multiplied by 1, if your wining odds are 99 and above your stake will be refunded by 5, and if your winning odds are 999 and above your stake will be refunded by a whopping 100x! It is important to note that the odds of the match that lost will be deducted from our overall odds before the refunded stake is calculated and this promotion does not apply to live and system bets.

The Mozzart Daily Jackpot is also a very exciting promotion which consists of predicting the final results of 13 football matches selected in advanced by Mozzartbet. Guessing all 13 matches correcting will reward you with the grand prize of 10,000,000 KES! 12 correct prediction will still give you a total of 100,000 ksh and you will actually earn prizes for 8 correct predictions and higher. There is a participation fee of 50 KES to take part in this promotion.

At the time of writing, Mozzartbet does not offer a VIP or Loyalty programme.

At first glance, Mozzartbet’s sportsbook does not seem to be as vast as other Kenyan bookmakers that we have seen. At the time of writing, you can bet on 12 different sports which are Football, Basketball, Tennis, Hockey, Handball, Volleyball, American Football, Rugby, Snooker, Boxing, Footsal, and Darts. Whilst we would definitely have liked to see some more sporting options, all the popular sports are available. Within these most popular sports, however, Mozzartbet does not disappoint. You can choose to bet on dozens of markets and hundreds of submarkets from matches taking place all around the world including the likes of goals odd/even, correct score, and both teams to score.

Having a lot of betting options means nothing however if the bookmaker’s odds are not competitive. To assess Mozzartbet’s margins we used the odds overround. This adds up the probability of each selection coming true for a match. Logically this should come to 100% however this figure does not take into consideration the profit made by the bookmaker. For this reason, a score of 110% or less is usually considered to be acceptable. When looking at Mozzartbet’s odds, we picked 3 random football matches, one from the English Premier League, one from the Spanish La Liga, and one from the French Ligue 1. The results came to 105.8%, 105.7%, and 105.5% which indicates that Mozzartbet does offer quality odds. The minimum stake requirement on single bets, multi bets, and system bets is a Ksh 20 when betting online or via mobile.

Esports

If you are interested esports, you will be very pleased to know that Mozzartbet offers esports betting options for its players. You can choose to bet on multiple tournaments in Counter Strike, Dota 2, and League of Legends and for each match you can wager on who you think will be the winner.

At the time of writing, Mozzartbet does not offer a cashout or betbuilder feature. We have to say we are quite disappointed in the lack of cashout options as this feature has become quite a must-have for a fully immersive betting experience.

Mozzartbet provides in-play betting on virtually all of its sportsbook matches across all the available markets. What is very disappointing however is that only very few of the matches currently showing live offered live updates as to what was happening in the match. We would like to point out that this review is not being written at peak sports time so it might be that the popular matches will have live updates, however as we are writing this, there is a very popular tennis grand slam match currently taking place between the giants Federer and Djokovic, and once again there are no match updates apart from the score.

Of the 32 matches showing live across all sports, only 4 featured live updates and these 4 matches were from very minor leagues. No matches had a live streaming service option available although we are told that the more popular football matches will feature a live stream. Just like when betting pre-match, there is minimum stake requirement of ksh 20 when betting in-play.

Mozzartbet Limited is licensed by BCLB (Betting Control and Licensing Board of Kenya). Whilst the betting site has a responsible gambling tab, there doesn’t seem to be any option where players can assign limitations to their deposit amounts. When we contacted Mozzartbet’s customer service via phone, we found that they answered promptly and were very polite and helpful. We asked what languages they provide customer support in and they informed us that it is available in both English and Swahili.

When it comes to its design, Mozzartbet has a very nice and classy layout. All tabs and features are easy to find, and its dark blue and yellow colour scheme is easy on the eyes. The website does not rely on any cheap gimmicks to attract the user’s attention. In terms of usability, on the whole the interface is easy to use, however there are certain parts of the site, such as the help and promotions sections which we think require a bit more information to help the user navigate through them more easily. In addition to this, some of the text in the markets and submarkets section of the sportsbook is not very clear which could prove to be a bit of a problem when some people are picking their wagers.

One feature we really like is that Mozzartbet provides very detailed statistical information on all the matches which are featured in its sportsbook. These statistics include head to head information, previous and upcoming fixtures, league tables, referee and stadium information and more and could provide you with information that you made not have known which could turn out to be crucial as you make your bets.

With a betting experience that centres highly around using mobile (registration, depositing etc), it comes to no surprise that Mozzartbet’s product is optimised for mobile. The company has a mobile app which can be downloaded on Android devices and you can conveniently download the betting site’s website. The app offers all the features found on the parent site and works flawlessly. It is easy to navigate through the different sections on the app and the app has all the features found on the parent site including live streaming of games and betting in-play. If you do not have an Android device, you should not worry because Mozzartbet’s mobile site (which can be accessed from any mobile device) is highly optimised and also provides a fantastic experience for betting on the go.

Mozzartbet is a betting company which provides secure payment options, competitive margins in popular sports, lots of exciting promotions, and a fantastic mobile app. Where we have been left feeling frustrated is in Mozzartbet’s lack of more detailed information regarding deposits and withdrawals, and in-play betting options due to the lack of a cash out feature and live bet updates. Overall, we think that this bookmaker will make for a good and reliable betting experience however there is a lot of room for improvement. If Mozzartbet can fix these issues and provide more information to their users throughout the betting process, we have no doubt that this betting site will be able to compete with the best in the country.
